What is an emotion?
Emotion series, EP1

Whenever we work on a project from scratch, we consider how to take the audience on a journey. In this case, we take you on a literal journey through the 5 events of an emotion, from triggering to reflection.

We supported the scientists as they wrote their scripts, filmed the interviews and storyboarded, design and animated the animation.

The animation is our attempt to realise what the scientist is imagining as they discuss their science. In this case, we travel into the brain with stop motion animation and take a train journey through the emotional experience with felt textured assets in After Effects.
